I-Dagen 2026

I-Dagen is the annual career fair connecting students in Industriell ekonomi (IEM) with companies at Chalmers. The fair is organised by Arbetsmarknadskommittén within Industriell Ekonomi at Chalmers University of Technology, and over 30 companies are invited every year. During the day, hundreds of students get the opportunity to connect with companies and attend workshops and lectures. Breakfast and lunch lectures are held in Vasa, and I-bild offers a new profile picture for your LinkedIn or CV. Some companies offer interviews, called contact talks, which you apply for in advance through a form. Only a few companies interview during the day, and the year-of-study requirements vary. The interviews are held in person, at some companies also digitally, and you submit a CV and sometimes also a cover letter. In 2026, interviews were offered by EFFSO, Clearwater, Exsitec, EY, Deloitte, Accenture and Inverto, among others. The day ends with a banquet, a three-course dinner where students and companies meet to mingle and network. In the fair's catalogue you can see which companies took part the year before. The organisers try to keep the schedule free of lectures on the fair day so that you can take part as much as possible.
